Excellent article. I do wonder about the idea of investing in ETFs vs picking winners (or even a few winners) in early amrkets because they're so inchoate. ETFs have construction issues which means they are often not great if what you want is exposure to high growth (and hence crazy) trends.
With the added caveat that even if you call the trend correctly you might fail to capture the upside eith the wrong individual bets. Wondering also how this compares with ARK..
MS has so obviously bought into the global warming propaganda that the Sentiment "observations" are going to be very costly for its followers over the next two years. Global warming and the destruction of the the energy industry is political, not environmental. People dying enmasse is (will be) a result of politics, not from carbon emissions. It will come from people not being able to afford gas and oil for heat, transportation, and food.
